Peter Hesketh.

Hesketh
Pete was the original webmaster of these pages,
and anyone who met in the flesh him will never forget him - wildly cheerful
and full of enthusiam.
His own interests included hot air ballooning, drinking pints of beer at "The Carps" and, of course, a leading light in umra (uk.media.radio.archers).

In order to better see the August 1999 eclipse he travelled to Iran, where the picture above was taken.
He was also one of the main forces behind the annual village fete, where he was known to appear quietly dressed so as not to draw attention to himself! |
Sadly, Peter died tragically young in August 2000. He shall be sadly missed.
