Village Halls and Open Spaces
- Shirenewton Hall: A rare and well preserved example of a Japanese garden of type fashionable at the beginning of the C20.
- Earlswood Hall: Home to many events including the annual pantos, and linedancing classes, the hall has a stage, lighting, bathrooms, a backstage area and a kitchen.
- Shirenewton Recreation Field: A large field area with football goals, and an adjacent tennis court is located on Earlswood Road. Its rec building has a small kitchen, bathroom facilities and a cloakroom. It is avaliable to hire.
- Blethyn Close Open Area: A large open area at the base of Blethyn Close, used mainly by children as a playing field. It is owned by the council
- The Cwm Valley Woodlands Nature Reserve
